Job Description

As a project manager in the feedlot team at Meat & Livestock Australia, you will work closely with a wide range of red meat industry stakeholders. The role centres around delivering strategic impact driven research, development and adoption to address the needs of Australian Lot Feeders to ensure long term sustainability and profitability of the industry.   

About the Role 

Gaining excellent exposure to the operations of our business and external stakeholders, we have a rewarding role for a Feedlot Project Manager to join our Research Development and Adoption team.   

Our ideal Feedlot Project Manager has:  

  • Ability to identify Research Development & Adoption (RD&A) needs and opportunities to improve the productivity and profitability of grainfed cattle production in Australia; 

  • Demonstrated success addressing these needs through the establishment, management and execution of appropriate RD&A programs and projects; and 

  • Experience in aligning productivity RD&A activities with cross sectional RD&A programs with particular emphasis on Sustainability and Animal Wellbeing programs
