Job Description

Gaining excellent exposure to the operations of our business and external stakeholders, we have a rewarding role for an experienced senior dietitian to join our Communications team.  

A senior leadership role as part of Meat and Livestock Australia’s Communications team and reporting to the General Manager – Communications. Working collaboratively across the company, the role provides thought leadership on the role of Australian red meat in a sustainable diet and requires stakeholder engagement with industry and public health.

Responsibilities include developing the nutrition program’s strategy and leading the nutrition research and communications program. Based in North Sydney with flexible working conditions, the role provides an opportunity to build on the program’s reputation for high quality practical resources for health professionals to improve food and nutrition literacy and promote healthy eating.  

 

Our ideal Group Manager – Food and Nutrition has:

  • Qualifications in nutrition and dietetics
  • Experience in public health and food industry
  • A well-developed network of contacts in the health and nutrition sector
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
