Job Description

About the Role

Focusing on accuracy of collection and interpreting data, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Insights team as our Senior Market Information Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, managing and analysing key market data in relation to domestic supply of red meat and livestock. The position is also required to work with the broader Insights team to develop presentations and reports for internal and external distribution.

Our ideal Senior Market Information Analyst has the ability to:

  • Collect, format and manage data
  • Deliver clean, timely, reliable and robust figures to internal and external stakeholders
  • Produce industry’s key strategic documents, outlining key long term trends and opportunities
  • Collate board reports and presentations that help inform stakeholders decisions on investing in the Australian red meat sector
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly industry reports.
  • Work in conjunction with MLA Management and other market analysts in the development of reports, analysis and PowerPoint presentations on key markets
  • Liaise and present to industry on current and future supply dynamics associated with the Australian red meat and livestock industry
