The successful candidate will partner directly with the business to provide reporting, insightful analysis and ad hoc financial modelling to facilitate the delivery of budget and strategic plan objectives.
Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively partnering with the business to build strong relationships with leadership and Program/Project Managers to support desired financial performance and strategic outcomes
- Engagement with key stakeholders to align budgets, pipeline development, KPIs, timelines and business plans and monitoring progress
- Preparation and delivery of financial KPIs insights on monthly and quarterly basis to business units
- Assist with preparation of board reports, annual reports and weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis
- Delivery of rolling forecasts, budgets and strategic plans along with supporting business units to develop business plans
- Continuous monitoring of the investment pipeline
- General accounting preparation of income statements for Grant agreements
- Adhere and champion project governance in line with MLA policies and processes
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ Years in an Analyst of Management Accounting role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance/Accounting, Economics or other related discipline
- Fully CA/CPA qualified
- Advanced Excel skills including working with complicated models
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Oracle PBCS or other OLAP software experience preferred
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Hold an appropriate visa/residency status for full time employment in Australia
