About the Role
In this role, you will design, establish and manage RDA projects and program of work aligned with MLA and the Animal Wellbeing and Biosecurity Group’s strategic priorities, providing strong technical leadership and governance oversight. Through close collaboration with industry stakeholders, you will ensure RDA investments are effectively delivered, widely adopted and translate into measurable, on‑farm and supply chain impact.

Our ideal Project Manager - Animal Wellbeing and Biosecurity has:

• Tertiary qualifications in veterinary science (preferred), animal science or related discipline (postgraduate or equivalent experience desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in RDA program and/or project management in livestock production systems.
• Strong understanding of animal health, welfare and biosecurity issues affecting the red meat industry.
• Experience working with research providers and managing externally delivered projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
